The Tower

I was a prisoner in an ivory
Tower of bones with two glass windows of eyes...

Enraged, I cursed the keeper til I was spent...
Alone and afraid I turned from the windows and began to search the dark recesses of the tower!

I was amazed to find a stranger there... He told me he had been there all the while! I had not found him for I had been too busy at the windows. I supped with Him... He gave me strength, and all wisdom I could contain -  He warmed my heart, taught me love...  and set me free!

I returned to the Tower to make it a cathedral... so that He would abide with me...

I am now no longer alone as He is my guest and we shall remain together even after the Tower crumbles into dust...

Speechless! I had to read it twice before I understood it and then its timely message made Eternal Sense. Like a page out of The Upanishads! I kid you not. It's on That Level. Publish your workz!

For thoZe who don't know what the Upanishads use our search feature.

I think Mimi posted something on the Vedas and Upanishads yesterday.

Read that thin ageless book as soon as possible and definitely before you

tranZlate.

Or.....just read ~eerie! LOL

"Narada said, 'I have studied all this, but the Self I do not know. I have heard from great teachers like you that he who knows the Self overcomes grief. Grief is ever my lot. Help me, I pray you, to overcome it."  ---The Upanishads (One of the oldest "bibles" on the planet and a profound influence on the bibles which followed Thousands of years later such as the Koran, The Torah, and The King James Version of The Holy Bible)

Whirlzs...

Your kind words make me blush!  THis was inspired while picking tomatos in our garden in the Sun one day...   I dropped the tomatos on the ground and ran into the house to write down the words on an envelope! I feel it was based on something I experienced during a NDE in 1969!
Thank you so much for your voice of encouragement and support!
Namaste...    ~eerie
