*From the Eddas*
The Eddas are 2 collections of epic poetry of Norse myth or folk tales. There
is a prose Edda (the Younger Edda) and a poetry Edda (the Elder Edda)
A quote from the Eddas:
The coward believes he will live forever
If he holds back in the battle,
But in old age he shall have no peace
Though spears have spared his limbs
Stanza 16 of the Havamal (the Sayings of Har) from the Poetic Edda
*My interpretation:* Don't spend your life on the sidelines. Take some chances!
You'll regret it later in life if you don't.
