—it seems that the days just keep coming as they wish, never changing their order or letting another day go first for once. what would life be like if we didn’t divide our time into 24-hour blocks, or into weeks or months or years? just how much does this somewhat artificial order affect the way we think and see the world? we’ll probably never know, will we? Love is a way of seeing and a way of being that honors God in everyone we meet. And it changes us in the most fundamental way. All we need to do is welcome the challenge of our relationships, training our eyes to look beyond human behavior to the Presence within. When we seek to live love, we discover through our interactions with others the divinity within ourselves.
Susan L. Taylor Carefully observe the natural laws in operation in the world around you, and live by them. From following them, you will learn the morality of modesty, moderation, compassion, and consideration (not just one society’s rules and regulations), the wisdom of seeing things as they are (not of merely collecting “facts?about them), and the happiness of being in harmony with the Way (which has nothing to do with self-righteous “spiritual?obsessions and fanaticism). And you will live lightly, spontaneously, and effortlessly.
Benjamin Hoff Here's today's quick thought: Seek not every quality in one individual.
