We often look to others for approval and validation when we do not have any in our lives. But if we cannot give that to ourselves we also cannot expect to get it from others. Some time ago I gave a ready for a client who was unhappy because she could not find a loving relationship. I remember Archangel Uriel saying 'you will never find someone who loves you more than you love yourself.' She was quiet for a few moments and agreed, realizing that the love she wanted to create had to start with her.

One of the greatest gifts that we can give ourselves is to be kind and gentle to ourselves, to forgive ourselves for the missteps, the things we didn't do or choices we did not make simply because we were afraid. The Universe never punishes us, nor does it bless us with more than we ask for simply because we must acknowledge our readiness for joy, unconditional love and abundance. We must be willing to release the need to learn from pain and to acknowledge our own power before we can create powerful lives.

Being gentle with ourselves will do much to create the life we want because it creates the energy of deserving. We deserve to have what we want simply because we want it. It does not matter how many times we have not been able to create it in the past, how many times we were afraid or what we did. For the Universe, the past does not exist. Only the present moment matters. And in the present moment we start with a fresh page on which to write our life story. Each day is a new beginning and we can start from a new point of beginning, where all of our mistakes do not exist, when we are gentle with ourselves, we realize that we are powerful, that there are no bad choices or decisions, no mistakes and nothing that cannot be undone in the Universe. Start each day with the realizing of the powerful, wonderful, divine being that you are, be gentle with yourself and you will create the miraculous life of your dreams.
