RAYOMND BUCKLAND HAS BEEN ACTIVELY involved in the study and teaching of the occult

for over 50 years. During his career, Dr. Buckland has appeared on numerous radio and televison

programs and has

lectured extensively about chants. Dr. Buckland was the founder of America’s first museum of the occult

and is regarded as one of the foremost authorities on the subject. His name has appeared in several

reference books, including. Who’s Who in America International Authors and Biography.

One of the things that impressed us the most about the good doctor iz hiz status in Wicca. 2nd in

importance in the Western European Gardner lineage and a disparaging story in an Islamic

publication,

which spoke of a Buckland student who was U. S. Military Intelligence and chant his way out of a

prison

term using Buckland’s lessons.

CHANT IS POWER

Prayer is universal. Every religion throughout the world, in all places, at all times, uses prayer. In many

religions the prayers are chanted. Psalms are a form of chanted prayer. What is the purpose of the

chant? How does it aid the prayer?

The chant, it turns out, is the key to successful prayer! Why? Because it puts you into the prayer!

The chant is a form, a style, a method of approach that ensures the drawing-off of your own personal

“power?(or mana) from within and, through it, projecting your desires.

Don’t be afraid of the word “prayer? You want a certain horse to win the 3:30 race? In wanting it to

win you are, in effect (or in reality), praying for it to win! To go to the dictionary again, prayer is

“reverent petition made to a deity or the object of worship?  This does not mean you have to be

religious, in the strict sense of the word, in order to pray. After all, at the racetrack you might be

praying to the great God Luck? or to his brother the God of Gambling!

But to want, or ever to literally pray, for your horse to win may not be enough. You need the

personal

factor.

Frank C. was an inveterate gambler. He especially like to play the horses—even though he invariably

lost!

“Why do you keep pouring your money down the drain, the way”} I once asked him.

Well, odds are that one day I’m bound to wines?hr grinned.

So I started telling Frank a little of what I had learned over the years about getting what you desire.

“Its not enough to stand at the rail and scream for your horse to win,?I said. “The gods help those

who help themselves. Why not put some of your own power behind your hose? You push him to the

front, ahead of all the others?

“With my mind??he asked incredulously.

“Certainly,?I said. I went on to explain a little of how a simple chant can act as a catalyst, and draw

out the power that lies dormant within all of us. I even wrote down for him a chant designed

specifically

to bring about a gambling win (see Chapter 2) By the time the

“I didn’t see Frank for about a week or two after that, but the next time I did see him he was did see

him he was driving a brand new car.

“What happened to your old ‘bomb??I sake.

He grinned, “Gave it away,?he sai. “I bought this with my recent winnings on the horses. I won over

$5,000 in ten days! You were right, you know. It’s the personal touch that makes the difference!?/STRONG>

Your Power Unlocked

Remember the chant is merely a tool used to unlock your power; to bring out the kinetic energy

within you and start it roiling towards your personal goals. You have the power,

Chant-O-Matics merely lets you make use of it.

The Final Solution?........... (pun intended)

For 47 years I have studied the many aspects of the Occult. For
years I have taught psychic development in universities, colleges,
at adult-education classes, and to private students. Through all
this time I have come to realize one thing in particular---that any-
thing you desire can be yours......anything!

How Pauline Healed Her Dog When She Could Not Afford a Veterinarian

Pauline bred Siberian Husky dogs. She didn't make much money at it,
but it enabled her to keep up with her bills, so long as there were no
emergencies.

It seemed the makings of a disaster for her, then, when she suddenly got a
number of unexpected bills at the same time that one of her female dogs fell
ill. They were bills that had to be paid---electricity, heating oil, etc.---and she
knew from past experience that the veterinarians fees for a dog could soar out
of sight! She obviously could not pay her bills and ignore her sick Husky. Yet,
by the same token, if she had the Husky to attended to, then the other bills could
not be be met.

The sick Husky was her favorite, as close to her as a human child. She had
to take care of it, no matter what. She tried various old "folk" remedies she
had used successfully  in the past on sick dogs, but it became obvious
that the dog's illness was too serious for these. Large handfuls of fur came
out of the dog's coat, and she lay listlessly in the corner of her pen from day's end
to day's end.

Almost in despair, Pauline suddenly remembered some brief remarks I
had made about chanting when she had met me a year before. They were
to the effect that chant can do more for a sick loved one than any other
medicine. Searching out my phone number, she called me and, almost in tears,
explained the situation. I reccommended the chant she should do,
with full instructions on how to go about it. She thanked me and hung up the
phone.

A week or so later Pauline called me again. This time it waZ to tell me
that her once stricken dog had just taken a ribbon in a local dog show. The
Husky was in top condition and had never looked so good!

SHOCKING REPORT!!!

"Let him that have eyes....."

"...for those that have ears...."

Charlie D. had always been known as "Lucky Charlie," but luck had nothing to do with his ultimate triumph over Fate. Charlie was a light-plane enthusast. He loved to fly. He did not have a pilot's license himself, but was always able to beg rides with his many friends at the local airport. He especially loved to go up in his friend Dean's old open-cockpit Waco biplane. He swore there was no thrill like that of feeling the slipstreams blowing in your face as you leaned out of the cockpit.

Something of a "Walter Mitty," Charlie would fantasize as he sat in the forward cockpit, seeing himself alternately as a W. W. I flying ace and as a daring Air Show wing-walker. As the latter, he would imagine hemself clawing his way across, from strut to strut, between the wings. Dean, knowing of Charlie's fantasies, would loop and roll the old plane, throwing it around the sky, as a fighter ace or a flying-circus pilot would do.

It was one, beautiful, clear, summer day that Charlie got his biggest thrill--and decided to fly no more in the old Waco! He and Dean had taken off, as usual, in the early morning and climbed to a safe height for perfoming aerobatics. It was seldom that either of them bothered to wear a parachute though they never failed to strap themselves tightly in. Exactly what happened that morning know one knows; not even Charlie. It may have been that he had been dreaming, once again, of climbing out on the wing. Anyway, for whatever reason he had unbuckled his seat belt. About this time Dean started a loop, but halfway through changed his mind and flipped the plane into a roll. The flip sent Charlie speeding out of the cockpit and flying -- without plane and without parachute!

In a split second Charlie snapped out of his dream-world and back to reality. Reality was that he was heading for the ground at an ever-increasing speed! He later denied that his whole life flashed before him. What did flash before him, however, was the page of a book he had recently been studying. It was a book of chants and the chant was one to protect yourself.

"It was as though the page itself was right there in front of me," he said. "All I did was read it off---and boy! did I put some feeling into it!" Charlie plummeted down slightly to one side of the country airport. He momentarily blacked out, which may have been a contributing factor to his survival, for it ensured the complete limpness of his body. He hit, and crashed through the outer tips of the branches of a high tree. From there he went into dense bushes and accumulated mulch over slightly boggy ground.

By the time Dean had landed the plane and then arrived, panic-stricken, with a number of fellow aviators, Charlie was sitting up checking his bones to see if anything was broken. Miraculously nothing was. Later medical examination showed that the only change in Charlie was that he was one-and-one-half inches shorter! It was a long time before he again ventured up into the sky. ----Dr. Buckland

The Magick of Chant-O-Matics, January 4, 2000
 Reviewer: A reader from Texas
While the title may sound goofy, these chants definitely tie into some kind of high power. I wish Buckland had gone into a little more detail--how many times to repeat each chant, do you chant all chants given, can you do two or more different chants at a sitting--and a pronunciation guide or phonetic spellings would have been helpgul. He's style of writing almost makes this sound too good to be true, but it works.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT!, June 4, 2000
Reviewer: A reader from New York, New
This is an amazing little book and very well respected in some unofficial circles. It sounds like a bunch of little infomercials the way the stories of other peoples results are written. If you gave the methods an honest few days of effort or so you like me would be won over. I guess what I like about it most is that its like a first aid kit. For me it has been better than a shotgun or an insurance policy for several years. It might not make "sense" logically but these chants work and they work fast!

 Wow!, August 21, 2000
Reviewer: A reader from Pflugerville, Texas USA
It works, it works, it works! I bought the book recently, tried the "Bring Pressure to Bear" chant, and within one week, results! Can't wait to try more--this book is a must buy!

 Definitely Works, December 11, 2002
 Reviewer: A reader from SoCal
At first sight, this book looks like something you'd find in a bargain bin or clearance section. Whoever wrote this must have some imagination, let alone a twisted sense of humour, right? Well, here's the good part.....IT WORKS!!! This is a healthy skeptic talking now and I don't buy into anything easily, especially if the author is already known. The key words are "Healthy Skepticism" which you need when you review this book. Don't buy it out of desparation, but at the same time don't dismiss it out of ignorance and pride. Keep an open mind and start with a simple chant. Be open if the chant doesn't work right away. Some desires take time to manifest because there are other factors and players involved. Everything is a domino effect. Remember also that we don't always get what we want just because we want it. Sometimes maybe to save us from pain or maybe because there is something better coming. From "my" experiences these chants do work. I've used several already from finding a new job, getting a loan paid back to me, and eliminating negative people. The only main thing this book could use is a rewrite. Some of the chants are hard to pronounce and the procedures could be explained better. I found myself asking "what if" questions a lot, but nevertheless, the chants still worked. So as anyone would say, you be the judge. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

April 8, 2003   Reviewer: sheila from New Mexico
I reviewed this book and found alot of pressuring against the will. A friend and I reviewed it though she may use it from time to time I found my spirit guides disliking the use. I preferred the few that were open and not directed at a specific individual or business. I like the light affect where it is send in a friendly matter without bearing pressure. Almost like giving birth without a baby. Recently had someone practice a few on me and found it quite disturbing. I prefer the old technique a teacher once taught me create your own and realize that good of others. REMEMBER God will is not controllable for it force is for the path of the individual not mine. Though I enjoy studying his technique since high school I would say your warning in the book is quite clear.

I did find one and only one I used to find a new job because I felt the isolation and negative pressure in an old accounting position that left me in tears for several months. So I prayed with that one chant not directed at any business or anyone. My prayer chant was answered with a new position with $2.50 more an hour that almost led me to a lead position. I would truly say God took good care of me. I like the openess of success without pressure and refuse to go against God will be it Pagan or Christian or any other religion. I respect them all.

No denying that 'Chants' can raise our vibrations, make connections to Higher Powers...
I once had the priviledge to be part of a chant of the ancient name for God, as it was not yet profaned by swear words, etc. This 'Hu' chant went on for 30 mins, and was attended by 6,000 people. It was a most moving experience.

I also have a tape of the Buddist Monks chant which I often play. From "Om" to "Amen," chants are a part of our lives...

6,000 people iz a whole lotta' folk sittin' down doin' something nice
and progressive together. Hu iz a pretty chant. Must be nice!  I
remember going to Nichiren Buddhism presentationz where Nam Mhyo
Renge Kyo waz chanted by a lecture hall full of us in football rally
style. It waz a powerful intoxicant but they were very aggressive in
their manner of recruiting 4 membershipz and I waz turned off. However,
the ability of chanting 2 summon tremendous Human Valence reliably iz the thrust of Judaeo-Christian Bible (The Psalmz of David, The Lord'z Prayer) and the Hindu Vedas
which precede them, prayerzZz .

Chanting iz the way 2 get the Godhead 2 listen 2 u. Speak out your prayer. Speak up!

In Oversoul 7 a demonstration of Egyptian Pyramid
building with group chantz in LUCID DREAMZ iz given.

You can see to it that whatever problems come up in your life, however much money you suddenly find your self in need of, you have the power to cover the emergency. Through chanting you can be master of any situation. That crisis which would knock your neighbor to the ground will not even cause you to stagger!

We all remember "Open Sesame" from the story of Ali Baba. And, of course, the all-powerfful "Abracadabra," still used by stage conjurers today. In the East especially, this belief in the power of words and sounds has been built up into a great philosophy. It is a system embraced by certain Hindus and Buddhists and termed "Mantra Yoga".

THE POWER OF THE SPOKEN WORD

The power of the spoken word is implicitly beieved in, especially if emanating from a known expert of the magical art, and even more so if in an unknown or uncommon language. Thus the magicians of Ancient Egypt used foreign words for their chants. Herodotus, the oldest Greek historian whose words have come down to use, tells that magical chanting by the Egyptian (North African) magicians was what enabled them to lift the great blocks with which they built the pyramids.

We can see, then, that magical words in the form of chants have been used throughout the ages, and used effectively. Chanting is a continuation of this honorable tradition and is a way of allowing YOU to follow in the footsteps of such notables as Dr. John Dee, Eliphas Levi, Cornelius Agrippa, St. Thomas Aquinas, Madame Blavatsky, and a host of others. Chanting is the magic of the future. It is your magic; enabling you to do and to have what you desire. Take it, and use it well.

Young Bob worked for an airline. It was a good job, but to Bob's mind, it didn't pay enough. He had recently left his parent's home to take an apartment alone, and he was feeling the strain of supporting himself. He had over-extended himself in all directions and the only solution he knew, was to get a better-paying job.

Bob started the slow, laborious route toward his goal by enrolling for evening classes to improve his qualifications. One evening, quite by chance, he sat at the same table with me, in the college cafeteria, having a coffee before class. We fell into conversation and he found that I was teaching a course in chanting. In no time at all he decided that mine was the faster route to his goal. I let him sit in on my class that night and he assiduously took notes.

It wasn't long before Bob felt ready to do the chant for his situation (Chant for a Better Job). The following day he hadn't been at work for more than half an hour before he got a phone call. A friend had heard he was looking for another job and was calling to tell him of an opening where he (the friend) worked. The job was a good one and the pay was better than in Bob's present position! He had hardly put down the phone when a fellow-employee came in to tell him of another position, again much better than his present one. Later that day, yet a third position became known to him!
