do you say bad words when you don't have enough blood on the strip?
I hate it when that E 2 comes up and I have to do it again

I started this thread on a morning when it happened to me
my meter only needs a little blood but sometimes it still is not enough
it is so fast it doesnt give you time to put more on
I posted this in several places and got lots of replies
some were very funny
I havent said those words much since I used to sew a lot and was working on putting in a sleave or working on a collar or neckline

I have trouble getting blood sometimes and stupid me puts the test strip in before I poke myself. Then when I do draw blood the test strip shuts down before I put the blood on the strip. So now I got a little bit smarter and draw blood then put the test strip in. As far as getting mad when it shows a error well yeah I kinda get upset.

Hi Marie...
always good to see ya
know what you mean about the strip being "dead" by the time I get a good drop for it... but you can take the strip out and put it back in while you have that blood ready... IF you see it is out before you place your finger with it's nice rounded drop of blood on it near the strip... lol!
I hate wasting a strip and having to poke again as well...
Have a great day everyone tomorrow..
Keep smiling,
Cuddles

I thought I was alone...just kidding...yep...this NY mouth of mine prob needs to be washed out w/ soap, when i waste a test strip...or as my mother used to do when we were kids..put a flake of crushed red pepper on our tongues...well she would threaten us w/ it anyway. You know how Italian mothers can be...but that's a story for another time..i wouldn't trade her in for ANYTHING!!!  Hope u guys are having a great Sunday...Lisa
