Lol Figured aome might stop by............................I know it has been awhile,a very long while but I did make it back finally......................Long story short I  lost my vision for a while................it was like looking threw a cloudy bottle of water.But it has  cleared up enough to let me read now.
          So I thought I would come look for my favourite thread but did not see it....................!!!!!!!!! to all those out there who need one a big hug and peck on the cheeck and know you are not alone out there and have a great day

Oh what a happy day indeed...
Grant we were so very worried about you hun and how wonderful it is to see a post from you and I guess the hug thread is just pushed down a good bit... I'll find it for you and bump it back up!
 
You are right it really helps to see someone sending you one from time to time..
Sorry to hear that you have had some eye problems and you know we don't mind long stories at all if it helps us know the why in a situation! We were really afraid something had happened to our Buddy!
 
how are you doing otherwise Cy??? Please don't run and not post again for months.. I would worry about you all over during the holidays coming.
I too will take one of those pecks on both cheeks please and a giant bear hug...
gentle of course.. lol..

Cyclops  so good to hear from you! . Oh I'm so glad you got
your eye site back. Hugs to you our dear friend.
 
As you probably heard MSN is closing groups. Kathy ( Cuddles ) and I have been working on a new site..ah I should say Kathy is the one that has been working on a new site, I haven't done much. But anyway would love for you to come with us.

About the eye...could it be cataracts?  Or was it a bleeder?  Or don't you know...
How is the grind on the machine, going?  Any word on the transplant situation?  Always thinking of you, and keeping you im my prayers.
Oh YES!  PLEASE come with us on our adventure to the new home!  Would love to see more of you!  HUGS!  sheryl

Updating on my eye................saw a few dirrent eye specialist and got different answers each time.Everything from cateracte(sp) to retna problems to servre gloccoma(sp)................take your pick.As for the transplant that is a wild goose chase for me.Everytime the transplant co-ordinator gets me to meet the requirements another one comes up(requirement) and up here in Canada they do not like giving diabetics kidneys.......afraid of compications or rejection is too high or relasps.Up here donour kidneys are few and far betwwen.I was told the average wait time is 5 years just long enough for problems from dialysis to occur.Making me a "bad" canidate for a transplant.But I did read an interesting article in a medical journal one day about a study in the US of 200 000 diabetics who were on dialysis.Only 31% lived past the first 5 years and that 36% of all new dialysis patients were diabetic.So those numbers do not look too good..............but then again I never followed what the "book" said .Dancing with the Devil and playing Nick-Nack on Death's door is far more fun!

The wait for a transplant seem very long there.  I don't know how long it is here. Could be the same.    As Sherry said we are moving. Be sure to pack your mouse and go with us.
