I know there is a lot going on right now, and I know that i have not been on for a while, so much has happen since the lastitime I was on, Rusty and I did get our own place for how long i have not a clue, i had a job, but got fired, someone was calling my work and tell them that i was going to quit. well we all know i don't quit, i have applied for unemployment but not sure if i will get it or not, i have a $350, rent payment to make, $150.00 to get the gas on in my name or it will get shut off $100.00 for electric and water as well. my job was only paying $200 to $300 a pay period, and i had to get grocery's cause someone stole my ebt card (food stamp card) i am waiting for a new card, Also gas to get me back and forth to work, here it is almost christmas, and i have no money for my son for christmas, I just don't know what to do,  I have app's all around but no one is calling due to the fact that there are no spots open cause teens are working there to get money for christmas as well.

I can't move back to Kansas cause walfare will talke over where they left off, and I don't need that.

If anyone has any idea's please i am all ears.

Kristen

sorry my delete.

Kristy so sorry to hear about your situation.  How do these people get your work phone number ?

The only thing I can think of is going to the Human Relations Dept in the town you are living in. See if they can help with housing, Food and maybe get you on Welfare until you can find a job., meanwhile talk to the people you are renting from maybe they will give you some more time to get your rent in. This time of the year is always hard on so many people

Praying that you get the help you need hon.

Try contacting the salvation army, Saint vincent de paul, Goodwill or womens shelters maybe they can help you. Try churches they usually have a list of where to go for help. If worse comes to worse see if you can afford to make cookies or make him a pillowcase that is a color he would like. Check out the second hand stores many have small items that look like new but can be used in a pinch. If he reads look for second hand book in good shape. I know this is not perfect but it may help you get by with the christmas problem. Good luck in the job hunt.I will be praying for you both. You desearve better but in GODs time not ours. We can only do our best.
Can you give your son a picture on yourself to put on his bedside. dollar store here has good frames. Can you paint or draw him a picture.

Kristy I am so sorry to read of your most recent troubles hun... I hope you can use some of the excellent suggestions from Snowcat and Mary.. and that it all works out...
it is hard on so many right now hun and Christmas really isn't about the gifts one receives anyway and I know you know that... Rusty is certainly old enough now to understand that you just can't afford to buy things right now..
Take good care hun,
Cuddles
