Can insulin quit working? I am having trouble keeping my sugar level down. I am on humalog sliding scale. I do not know what to do. I start at 10 units and go up to 20 depending on how high it is. I do not understand what is happening. Is it possible for pain to cause sugar levels to go up? I have been in a lot of pain lately and that is when it started going up. When the pain level is under control my levels are normal or low. Lori and Adam Chewbacca |
