The idea here is like using it as a diary.. people write about their day, their lives their feelings, their family, their struggles with medical stuff.. whatever... but other members do come here and read the journal, your writings and comment. Often you can get advice or support no matter what you are going through..
It is often just good to get your feelings out about whatever is going on in your life.

have not written here for a while.  have been getting lots of fresh fruit and vegtables from farmers market. have not been exercising as much because of heat but saw a great show on pbs  belly dancing    will be trying that  like the music

Hi Tabby,,, I love farmer markets,, don't have one here in Jacksonville, but wish I did,,, i'd be there as often as I could be. Nothing like fresh fruit and veggies and the prices are usually so much better too.
Let me know how that belly dancing goes.. I know I hate the heat too and find it hard to do alot outside when it is so humid!

my 2 older sons always called me mama    my 3rd son started calling us by our first names  after getting after him he persisted in doing this   I let it go with mama this and mama that all day long it was a change   when I first heard 1 of my sons calling his mother-law mom I was jealous for a few minutes until I realized she was mom but I was mama

why I sometimes took up for Gelsey's fil-----because I lived with a son and dil for 9 mths after I left my husband of 45 yrs.It is not easy living with your married kids even if everyone is trying to get along  I know how depressing it is to lose someone you've been married to for a long time [even if you are separated] I know how it feels to be very sick [you don't feel like doing much of anything]it is an effort to brush your teeth or comb your hair  everyone is different  we react to things in different ways so I knew this was hard on her but it's hard on a old man too p.s. some men get mean as they age and change   that's why I left my husband[it was not another woman or any thing of that nature]

an Italian man came into the office the other day   he said you should be in the movies     I said stop pulling my leg[an expression  meaning stop telling untruths]   but it made me laugh all day and when I think about it.   are all Italian men like this?

I am so proud of myself     for 8 months I have done both my regular job and most of the manager's job     I a stay at home wife and mother for years could not have done all this and done it well without the help of GOD   now I will have more time to do things I need to do or like   I will just be doing my regular job      now---more reading---more vacuaming  etc.   THANK YOU GOD FOR BEING WITH ME
