Hi all!  Thank you all for your kind words.  Tammie, to answer your question, NO it my low blood sugars do not cause the baby to have low blood sugars while I'm breast feeding.  From what my doctor tells me, the reason my blood sugars go so low is because breast feeding takes a lot of energy and burns a lot of calories...about 500 or so...the equivalent of doing 1 hour on the treadmill.  So it is important that I eat extra food to help compensate.  So that's why us diabetics get the low blood sugars if we breast feed.  
 
I'm going to post his picture so check it out and let me know what you all think.  This was taken at the hospital and he's 1 day old.

Michelle,,,,,,, So happy to hear of the arrival of such an angel you have there in Lance!!! I'm glad he came early too,,,, considering how big he would have been,,,, lol,,,  When I signed in today on what's new page and saw the pic,,,,,,, I thought oh my God,,,,,, she has had her baby!!! How precious he is Michelle,,,,, I know you guys could not be happier,,,,, and glad he is healthy and strong/growing!!! Keep us updated on how you are all doing,,,,,, That face is just so precious,,,,,, You are blessed for  sure!! Congrats again and sorry I'm late in telling you so,,,, was out of town!!!
