6 ounces uncooked spiral pasta ( I used tri-color) Next time I will try whole wheat,,,, lol.
1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup white wine vinegar or cider vinegar (I used the apple cider)
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups chopped cooked chicken breast
2cups torn fresh spinach(I used baby spinach,,,More than the two cups,, lol)
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
Cook pasta according to package directions. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, oil, sugar, sesame seeds, salt and pepper; shake well. Drain pasta and rinse in cold water;,Drain,,,,, place in a bowl. Add chicken and half of the dressing; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Set remaining dressing aside.(in frig.)
Just before serving, add the spinach, onions, parsley and remaining dressing; toss to coat. Yield:8 servings
I put our spinach in an individual large bowl, added some of the green onion,,, and then added some of the chicken mixture,,, then drizzled a bit of the dressing on top,,
Nutritional info.

We had this as our main meal last night and Dave really loved it as well as I did,,,,, Hope it will taste as good with the whole wheat noodles,,,,,, Keep cooking, Cuddles

This is one of our Favorite summer recipes so moving it up...
Use Splenda instead of the sugar... it works as well..
First thing I put in my shaker is the splenda and then the toasted sesame seeds... then the cider vinegar I shake those 3 things then add the rest.... the oil goes in last. it seems to mix best that way...
Enjoy if you try...
Nice on hot day... don't heat up the kitchen...
I double the amount of salad dressing usually.
