Ken Follett has a new book out
World without end   it is 1014  pages and $35
he wrote The Pillars of the Earth
the new book is set in the 14th century 200 years after pillars with decendants of pillars
 
Diana Gabaldon who we have been waiting on to finish the Outlander series has been doing another series    
one book came out in August  
Lord John Grey and the Brotherhood of the Blade    and one is coming out November 27 about Lord John Grey too

I enjoyed Pillars of the Earth Tabby. I'll have to refresh my memory though and then checkout or buy, World without End.  
 
Hmmm..I did read one of Gabaldon's books that was strictly about John Grey. My memory is the pits, I'll have to see if that was the August one you were talking about.
