I'm confused. I went to the doctor and was told I have type 2 diabetes. I was places on medication that I had to take four times a day. I continued to go in for follow up visits until had to miss an appointment for work related reasons. I continued to test my blood sugar levels until I ran out of test strips. When I went to the pharmacy to buy more strips, I didn't have enpugh money. What can you do, if you simply can't afford doctor visits and treatments?

D.D heres a site that can help with your supplies , there are also sites that offer help with Meds..you either pay a small amount like $ 5.00 to $ 10.00 ea and sometimes they're free depending on how much money you make. Heres the site for supplies I'll look for the sites on medicines and post them. As for your Dr visits, maybe talk to your Dr and see if he can spread your visits out like every 4 month..just a thought.
