Sarah,
I usually eat a little more after curves - it was just TOO hot today, and I kinda forgot (oops!) - it was 38 when the family started to tell me to check it and gave me the juice....I'm afraid to cut the insulin too much - my doc says that I need most of it just for my metabolism, so I try to keep the bs  in range by eating a little more or having an extra piece of fruit or glass of juice...thanks for the suggestion, though!

I read here everyday but don't post. I either have nothing to say or I think I may sound stupid. Bit I do check in. Maybe it is time for a member check in.

I have been checking all the boards a couple of times a day lately. A little lag time at work, but when it picks back up I will be forced to check them a little less. Usually the General board is the most active. I am a Type 1 also, and I usually just post to general, since I am not sure how many people check this board.

When I sign on, I go to "All Message Boards."  Sometimes I think I post TOO much, and nobody cares.  I tend to forget that there is a difference (in some peoples' minds) between "internet friends" and just friends.  I get involved in what is happening in the lives of members of our group, and check in every day, because I do care so much.  It helps me, and I hope I help others. BTW...I know what your mean...that no one does caring and supportive quite the way our Kathy does!  Miss her!  sheryl

I look in here everyday.  I usually go to "view all threads" instead of just one at a time.

Ann:  dLife is a new show about diabetes, done by diabetics.  They are on Sunday night, CNBC, 7 PM eastern.  Currently they are on their second round of shows, the first round of six was already run twice.
You can check out their web site www.dlife.com.

Nicole Johnson does a great job, and the other type I guy does too.  He is a comedian and actor and I dont have his name handy at the moment.
The other two hosts are Type II.

I look in here frequently to see if anyone has posted. I don't post that often because we just deal with day to day things. Evan stays busy with sports and friends and I don't think anyone is interested in reading about his ball games and such. Although, baseball playoffs are around the corner.....and this is his last year for a chance to go to Williamsport (Little League World Series)!!! Wouldn't that be exciting????

I read here on an almost daily basis.  Been out of town for a week or so and not on the net at all during that time.  I don't hardly post because every time I do, I get people yapping about how everything I do is wrong because its not done the way they do it, so I don't bother to post much at all ever on the diabetes board anywhere.  And whenever I have a question, hardly anyone has ever experiences what I'm asking about so it becomes pointless to ask anything.  I mostly just read to see if anything may be useful and to check in on the few people I can relate to.

I read here a few times a week -- everytime I check the boards.  It seems like a lot more of the members read the "General" topics, so I have posted there a few times even if the topic is Type 1 related.

I know my two cents are a little late but yes I check out this board every day sometimes more.I have not been posting lately because I have been fighting with this computer of mine and its internet software......grrrrrrrrrrrrr.But I do agree there is little happening in here but I did miss out on some great conversations these past few months on a couple of the threads.

I check this site too.  I don't have as much time as I used to to go through all the posts but when I log on I always check the Type 1 board but seems that most people like to post on the General board only.  I actually would prefer to post more on this board when it comes to type 1 stuff but sometimes the lack of responses makes you want to post on the General board.  I think all us Type 1's should make an effort to post a little more on this board.

Hello All,
I'm one to read more and post less. Guess that's called lurking in the background.  Do check in here to read the boards once a week and look for new material.
