I know when I switched to the pump a few years ago I unintentionally lost weight simply because I had reduced my portion sizes. I didn't really eliminate any foods. When I have tried to lose a few founds I too found it a bit difficult because I'd go exercise and then would have to eat more because my sugars got low. I would say you may want to talk to your doctor to adjust your insulin (if you're on it) so that it will accommodate lower calories and exercise so you don't get too low and then have to eat more. I don't think there is any diet trick out there in my opinion. I think just good old fashioned diet and exercise is the key and making it a lifestyle change. Sorry I don't have the magic answer. I'd chat with you but I'm slightly out of your age range! ha ha I'm 31 but if you're interested you can write me back - not sure if I'm clickable or not. Good luck on your diet! Michelle |

I agree, portion control matched with exercise and insulin reduction (for lows caused by either) should work. You're young enough at least that the over forty weight gain thing hasnt overtaken you. It didnt overtake me either but the system sure is slowing down from the thirties. |
