Hi Everyone ! type 1 for 26 yrs. Started as gestastional, didn't know it would become permanent. I'm 4 shots a day. Would like to get on the pump...maybe after April, when I go to the Joslin clinic. I was stumbling through the groups and was hoping there was a support group. There is not one close enough to where I live. I'm glad I found you on-line and hope to learn from all of your experiences Michele |

Hi Michele, I am a gestational starter too...also thought with giving birth it would go away but some 32 years later, it hasn't so I guess it's here to stay. Welcome! Peace, Cheryl |

Hi everyone. Thank you for welcoming me to the group. Sorry it's taken so long to get back here. Life seems to get hectic and before I know it I'm closing my eyes. I appreciate the offering on info about the pump. I would really like to start using it. The last time I spoke to the specialist about it, he pooh poohed it. That was a while ago. This April will be the first time I have gone to seem him in about 4 yrs. I've heard that the pump helps to keep you under better control, but he told me that I had to get me under control before he would reccomend the pump. Totally confused! MicheleV |
