Red spots are normal, and some bruising is ok, but it shouldn't turn into a big bruise. What type of needles are you using? Do you take any blood thinners?

I get those and pretty big bruises too. With Buetta it also itches for a few minutes before it goes away.

I used to bruise when I was thin.  Once I put on weight  I found I did not bruise as much.  Itching  at  the  insulin  injection  site  is  a  histamine reaction.  There  may  be an additive  that  is giving  you  a  local  allergic reaction.
