I just signed up to this board and wanted to pop my head in and say hello. I am type 2 and have been for about 15 years now. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Looking forward to perhaps making new friends here and learning more about diabetes.
Hi Billy..... I'm Cheryl....another Cheryl and we all don't have the name S/Cheryl here...lol.....I've been T1 for 33 yrs.....and currently have no complications from my diabetes..... this is a really cool group....very friendly and very willing to help with what we all know.... I live in the southwestern U.S. but have a very fond kinship with Canada and her people.....I grew up in Northern NY on the east end of Lake Ontario and spent many a day playing in Canada.... going back and forth across the St. Lawrence River and the 1000 Islands. I use to watch Hockey Night in Canada every Saturday night at 8 pm..... we also have many Canadian members here from all areas of Canada.... so please join us. Post whenever ya want with whatever you want to talk about....we don't always stick to the topic of diabetes as you can probably tell if you've scanned the boards....the only thing we don't ususally talk about is the norm....politics. So kick your shoes off and hop right in! Hope to see ya around. Peace,Cheryl
