I was dianosed with type two in the late 90"s and have been on glucoph 2000 m for years.  I tried actos off and on but it has slushy side effects.

I can empathize with many of you here having gone through a half dozen finger stick kits.

Sometimes I even talk like Wilfred!

God Bless

Welcome to the group Colonelproron! So happy that you have found us and introduced yourself. You will find as you read around here that this is a very close family..
most of the action happens on the general board but we do like to post our morning Blood Glucose numbers here together.. actually anytime reading. Testing is just something we gotta do isn't it.. lol...

I hope you are doing well on the medications you are now taking and any side effects are mild and yet you can gain good control..
Hope to get to know you better and should you need any help or have a question. just post and ask.. no dumb questions around here..

Have a great weekend and look forward to seeing your posts.

May I ask you to please use a larger size font of 4 or 5? Some of our members due to aging and also diabetes have a hard time reading the font size msn gives us... thank you!
Cuddles/Kathy

Thank you for your reply.  I've been working hard on my glucose levels to keep them down.  Staying away from carbs, and I have this new potato stick diet from my chiropractor.

Raw watered potato sticks for a crunchie (snack)  I've substituted them for about every other snack.  For my health I increased my protien intake in my diet, and get at a tread mill every day.

Finger sticks are so.... you know, been through my fifth meter, and the last one just went kafluie at the D.O.'s from being too froze on a - day.

Thank you again for the information and good readings for all.
