Hi Darlene and welcome to the group or family as we tend to call it around here..
When one is first diagonized of course it makes one worried or nervous about their health.. BUT in time you will come to see that at times the diagonisis of diabetes can be the best thing that every happened to you if you can gain control of the numbers and improves the eating habits of the entire household not just the person with diabetes.

It takes time for our bodies to adjust to lower numbers.. and each of us is different but your body will get used to having lower numbers and feeling good at them.. Some of us can feel good at the 75 range... and for others that makes them shakey when they are at that number.. it is an individual disease for sure.. yet alot of things about it that we all share..
hope to hear from you often and thank you for introducing yourself...

May I please request that you not type in all caps? it is a little hard to read for those of us here who have poor eye sight due to aging and diabetes... (I can read it but perhaps others had trouble)
Usually just a font size of 4 or 5 works well in a dark color like you used.. Thank You!
Keep smiling,
Cuddles(Kathy)

Hey Darlene.... I'm Cheryl been T1 for 33 yrs..... and I agree with what Cuddles said, it takes time for your system to adjust and also for you to adjust to nervousness and fear.  You'll get through it and use to it all.... diabetes, though confusing sometimes is something that can be lived with the more you learn each day....and no matter how long we've had it, it seems there's always something to learn....... please post any questions or concerns you have...that's what we're here for.  see ya. Peace,Cheryl
