I am new here, and just found out I have type 2. Seems as if I have had it for a long time(a1c=9.2%). I have gotten a new meter (ultra mini) and bought the software for it(which is really cool). It has made tracking all my readings easy, the doc was even impressed with the reports I printed out and took to him. Went to the doc today and found out I have "lost light touch sensitivity in my toes and foot". I am kind of worried about that one. Anyway I have gotten the calorie counting down but still cant wrap my head around this carb counting thing. Anyone got any tips or tricks on that one? Any other advice or tricks would greatly appreciated. |
