I bought this and just tried it out. They advertise it on TV alot. It has a light, magnifier and tweezers all in one. The concept is great but when you use the magnifier it cuts the light off slightly. The tweezers aren't worth anything. It hardly would grab a hair. Anyone else try this and like/hate it?

Not that one, but I bought the battery operated emjoi epilator which is supposed to twirl away facial hair.
I wasn't impressed and gave it to my dil who loves it.
I continue to pluck, one by one.

I've seen those advertised but never tried one. Thanks for the heads up. Has anyone ever had their eyebrows done at a Salon? You can have them waxed there. I've heard it hurts but is an easy way to get your facial hair removed.

I had let mine grow out the length I wanted then went in to get them shaped at a salon once. I made it clear where I wanted them waxed and she removed WAY to much. Do to my bad experience I will not use a salon again anytime soon.

I've not used one of those things but I do go to a salon for shaping the eyebrows, then I use nair for my lip and legs. It works real well for me.

I still use the old fashioned tweezers(rarely).I've thought about using one of those doityourself wax kits.I have 1 eyebrow & hair on my fingers, feet & toes that makes me look like a female werewolf(lol).I don't think I have the nerve to do a bikini wax.

I have half eyebrows, and sparse at that, so in a rash moment I had  eyebrows tattooed.  Big mistake!  They looked so phony and dark. No short little strokes to make them look like hairs.
It cost $80. to put them on and $ 400. to remove them.
I am just thankful they COULD be removed!

Joan,
Did you have them removed? I didn't noticed tattooed eyebrows in your pic!

Yes, I had the dye removed  almost immediately,  as soon as I could find someone,
A specialist in dye removal, to do the job.
It took about 6 sessions, I have mercifully forgotten the exact number.

It was  painful, all those needle sticks, but it was worth it to me.

Ladies, I would not recommend any permanent facial  tattoo, eyebrows, eye liner, lips  or other wise.
Has anyone had it done and are you pleased with the result?

My Dm had permanent eyeliner done. You can barely see it.I wonder if they let you decide on the thickness of the liner.I've been meaning to ask her about it.Anyone else know about it?

I've never and wouldn't want to do it. I'll keep using the eyebrow/facial remover and tweezers while I can see. LOL!

I bought that Luma Tweeze a while back.  It's a total piece of junk!  The blue light actually made it almost impossible to see the hair and like you said, it would cut off right when I would manage to focus using it.   I tried using just the tweezer part alone but they are the worst tweezers I've ever used.  I didn't bother to take the thing back for a refund.  I should have.  There's no telling how many people hated it and just kept it or threw it away.
