Copyright information

I have been hearing and reading so much lately over siggies, copyrights, put this or that on the siggie, etc.  I am so sick of all the rules today for MSN Boards. I have found by frequenting various boards that all managers have different views and rules on what is allowed in their eyes and claim its all MSN rules.  OK, so I will have some to.

• I know it's confusing on what siggies we can or can't post. I don't even know all of them. A good rule of thumb is if you have seen it in relation to a commercial, well known brand, cartoon, book, known artist, etc then it is copyright and can't be used.

• Siggies made from PSP that are original work of a commercial/professional artists is not allowed on Divas due to to many rules and permissions to learn on my part.

• Any siggies containing a link to the siggie maker are not allowed.  Without knowing each and every board that contains a link or URL I can't be sure there is not ADULT Content on it.

• This also includes PHOTOBUCKET. PB has a clickable link in the siggie taking one back to their album and this is not allowed. Please do the following to make it allowable to use:

   
• Log into photobucket

• Highlight the tag  and use the CTRL C ... CTRL V  or
• Right click and go to 'copy'  NOT copy image.
• Then paste in the message... No link

If someone forgets and I see it I will just delete it, no biggie.

 Please continue to use all the pretty graphics you want and we will all just try and make sure they are legal to do so.
