just curious if any of you ladies have ever tried any of the products in paid commercials ... i couldn't sleep one night and was watching tv, a paid ad featuring cindy crawford came on, who i think is so beautiful, talking about the skin care products she uses, meaningful beauty ... and jane seymore, another beautiful woman, has her own skin care line ... then i saw the wen hair care products that looked interesting ... but if you do purchase, they automatically send you future supplies ... i don't really like the idea of automatic shipments and charges to my credit card ... but if any of these things are really any good, i might consider ... what do you think?? |

The skin care products might be ok but the automatic shipments and charges to your credit card is not a good idea. |

I haven't bought skin products, but would balk at automatic sends. Book clubs do that and it can be a hassle. The last product I bought after watching the commercail was stick up lights. Very disappointing. They don't give off any effective light. PS: MSN won't let me post so I may quit here for now. |

Some of these late night products can be bought at Walgreen's and even Walmart carries a few. I have bought the pick up extension thingy. I don't know how well it would work for picking up anything heavy but it works great for picking leaves out of my ponds. Also bought the blown glass watering bulbs and they work and are attractive. |

I've seen that commercial you're talking about. I thought it looked good too. I haven't ordered any, but, I did once order something else that was one of those "automatic order" deals and they cancelled when I asked them to. (about 2 weeks in I decided I didn't like product). I think you could decide w/in a couple weeks if you like it or not. That company you are wondering about is pretty reputable and would cancel the program if you didn't want it. Those actresses usually don't put there name on it if it isn't good. (Although I know they are getting paid, still, they wouldnt do it I dont think??) |

I use Bare Escentials from Bare Minerals and I ordered it originally from an infomercial. Tbey do sign you up for automatic renewal but at that time you simply ask for the number to so you can change the renewal amounts. They give it to you. I then called it immediately after ordering and told them I wanted to order by demand only...they said fine and that is what I have been doing. It is the best stuff I have ever used and I have been using it for about 5 years. I have tried some of the Walmart products, etc. (same type of mineral stuff) but it does not seem to have the good, light, airy coverage likethe Bare Escentials does. I only order once a year...because it goes so far. Both of my daughters useit now too. TRose |

I've tried a few of those types over the years and do not believe in any of them. I returned my products. |
