Have any of you heard of banding? Not sure just what she did to my eyebrows but there was string, razor and tweezers and pain in volved, today was the second time I had it done. It dose hurt, feels at time as though she was cutting my eyebrow off my face but bueaty hurts ladies. It is better then waxing and last longer also, it shapes your eyebrows and windens the look of your eye, I really do like the look of it, I go about every 4 to 5 weeks to have it redone and the pain that you go through is worth the look you have and no plucking every other day. FBR, I have heard of banding and as a matter of fact I think I saw it done on TV once. I'm sorry, I'm not one for pain so I could never do what you did. More power to you though. It hurts just thinking about it!!!!! And.... I even have hairy Italian eyebrows!!!! |

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........pain........razors...near my eyes? I don't think soooooooooo........lol.......nope..........ain't happening........LOL. You're a brave soul, FBR. Guess that's why you have beautiful eyebrows and I don't! (ouch, ouch, ouch....) I will stay happily and cowardly imperfectly unbeautiful........lol ( razors? *shudder*) |

Got to say I am with Penny on this one...but I can't wait to ask my 23 year old daughter about this who is a walking encylopedia on beauty stuff. |

This eyebrow banding is listed right up there with the bikini wax---which I also am not having! OUCH!!!! Happy |

Ladies I have to ammitt before the first time I never heard of banding, I went in to have my hair cut ( I was cutting it and then I made a mess out of it) the lady cut my hair and it turned out great, she then asked me about my eyebrows and if I would like to have them "band" I asked her questions about it (forgot to ask her if it hurt), I had them waxed before but I'm allergic to the stuff that they put on you skin (I looked like I was in a fight with two swollen eyes) and it was close to Christmas, I went to go to a party looking like I lost a fight. She band them it looked great she took off to Iran 6 weeks ago(that is were she is from) she got just back last week and it looked as though I had two catabellers insted of eyebrows. If I would of known it would hurt as much as it did the first time I would never had it done in the first time, but it dose give you a nice clean look and the arch is perfect. As for the Italian eyebrows beclonglegs, I am half Italian so you know why I'm doing it and what I'm talkin about... and my other half is just as hairing. F B R |
