Use this board for all and any issues you wish to discuss on eye concerns, makeup you like best, wrinkle creams you use, etc.

I have two new eye products that I would like to recommend. That is really saying something for me because most eye creams make my eyelids swell up and my eyes run water.  These did neither.

Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum--It does NOT  contain SPF so it is best used under sunglasses or with sunscreen or at night.  It has a brightening effect that is good for someone that has dark circles like me.

Clinique Advanced Stop Signs Eye Spf 15----This is the only eye cream with sunscreen that I have ever used that didn't make my eyes run.  It also has a brightening effect on the eyes.

 Shade Your Eyes
Toss those little applicators that come with powder eye shadows and use a brush, a cotton swab or your finger instead. To make your eye color and shape pop, you just need two shades -- a light one to go over the whole lid and a darker one to outline the crease. Put concealer or foundation on after your eye shadow; that way you can hide stray specks of shadow.

Hello gals, this is a great discussion!!! I do not really have many wrinkles as i do not tan my face but i use a lot of Dove products.Curently i am using Dove Brightening Moisturizer for daytime and Dove Day Lotion at night as it is a bit more oily.the Dove brightener seems to give my skin a nice soft healthy glow.I just use a big brush and apply Physicians Formula Multi-colored Corrector Green to even out my skintone. After that a little mascara and blush and i am done.My friends say they really noticed a difference in the soft look of my skin after i started the Dove Brightening Moisturizer. And best of all it is really cheap and readily available at almost every store.I hope this has been helpful,Hugs,Diane

Best thing I ever did, went and had permanent eyeliner done, I love it and it looks like you have makeup on when you get out of the shower. Makes it great when hubby wants to get going somewhere, he doesn't want to wait for me to apply anything.

Having permanent eyeliner would be a time saver for sure. Tell us about it. How long did it take? painful? what color did you choose? Enquiring minds want to know here.

Loreal inexpensive? Not by my budget.I use a generic moisterizer which is on the same level as Oil of Olay. You'd be surprised how some generic products can beat out bigname products.

Permanent eyeliner takes about an 1.5 hours and is not painful after the first line is drawn, then they can put topical anthestic on it which helps a bunch with the pain. It is actually a tatoo on your
eyelids, you can get either top or bottom, I did both. Not sure you can choose a color but don't know for sure.  Big thing is make sure the person doing it has been to school for it, I've heard to many horror stories.

Forgot to tell you the worst part is you are awake and you have to keep your eyes closed for that hour and a half, it was nearly impossible.   Oh but so worth it.

I don't know what I was thinkin .A couple of years ago I decided to forgo my earthy look & wear eye makeup.I wore liner inside & outside the lashline.Plus, I went crazy with the blush(cheeks, forehead & eyelids). When I was in a pic with friends I couldn't believe it.I looked like a Native/American Tammy Faye Baker (with smaller eyes) Yikes!

I like Clinique as well.  It does seem to brighten the dark circles.  And I definitely need the sunscreen piece -- I burn so easily and my skin is getting even more sensitive with age!

I recently purchased a jar of Avon's Anew Clinical Eye Lift and have been pleased with it.  Avon sells it online for about $26.00 but I found it on Ebay for $19.00 (that included the shipping charge also).
