Today while talking to several people at the mall I took notice to something. Perhaps it was moreso noticable to me because they had short sleeves on. The elbows!! Its amazing how many forget to pamper the elbows. They get discolored and need proper care aside from the normal soap and water. Do you remember to take care of this area? I have been guilty of this and have to remind myself to give it attention. Now go and get in front of the mirror, elbows out and report back here. LOL! |

My elbows are just ordinary soft skin elbows but I have a Granddaughter with elbows like alligator skin. I got her a pumice stone for the elbows but I don't live nearby to follow up. She also has Psoriasis. I wish there was a cure for it. |

I always rub lotion in for my pts. A lot of the older ones don't pay attention to them. I've done it for my elbows. At least one part of my arms will look good!!! |

Or can it be that the older manners of not putting your elbows on the table have finally died and the elbows look the worse for it???????? |

I use microdermabrasion on my face weekly. I also will put some on other areas if needed like my hands, knees, feet or elbows- the rougher skin area and help keep it soft. CC- alligator tootsies?! LOL! Ouch!!!! |

Try to keep after tose elbows. My mother had ugly ones and I don't want to have them too. But you are right people only look at the front of themselves and forget the back. Did you all ever see someone who forgets the back of her hair. I work with a woman who has bed head in the back all of the time. She is my supervisor or I would tell her about it. |

cwnnf- LOL! Yes, I saw a gal at the store one day who looked nice from the front. The back of her head was ratted, matted sticking everywhere! No I didn't say anything to her, don't know her. She was young enough to know better to. If it had been an older person I may have found a way to tell her nicely. |

Well, the elbows are ok, and I always check the back of my hair (Mom would always critique us about that) but looking in the mirror, and turning around to check the review..... did you ever wonder why there are those pockets on the back of your jeans? They have got to be some designer's joke to make your butt look bigger. The one thing that drives me nuts is women who try to cover their behinds with long, tunic length shirts and then never check to see if they are bunched up around their waists in the back. What is the point of wearing something that comes nearly to your knees in the front if you butt is hanging out there with those silly pockets accentuating the whole thing? I'm buying new clothes. |

I always use Bath and Body's Shea Butter lotion after my bath or shower. I'm trying to look at my elbows now....(it's hard to see your own when sitting.....best go look in the mirror) Back...they look fine...guess that Shea butter is working...lol* |

Did you know you can pinch your elbow skin as hard as you want and you can't feel it because there are no nerves there? Isn't that funny? I think it makes up for the lack of skin nerves though when you hit the deep one called THE CRAZY BONE!. |
