Recently read, I AM ROE, about the woman who sued for the right to abort in Texas. Very sad life but didn't change my opinion of abortion an iota and actually I ended up disliking her very much. |

I'm doing something I shouldn't,here.I'm trying to read 2 books at once.I just finished reading "Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennesee Williams.I couldn't put it down. Now I'm on "Faces of Evil" by Lois Gibson.She's a forensic artist & I love it.I shouldn't have,but I started "Pride & Prejudice" when I was halfway thru "Faces o.E.".I'd better put it down until I'm finished. |

I sometimes read 2 books at the same time. I take a book with me for appointments, dr. or car. I finished THE CAMEL CLUB by David Balducci.The first chapter was a little slow to intrduce all the people but picks up. I have the second in the series to start. |

Abs, the Harry Potter books are BETTER than the movies. I am about to start them again before I getthe series finale.

The last book that I read was about a mining tragedy in Idaho. I have 3 books sitting on my desk waiting for me to open them. Now that the weather is getting cooler I will be staying in more and will have my nose in books again soon. |

I just started the Amber Room by Steve Berry. Our school librarian always gives me good mysteries when she finishes with them. |

I recently finished reading the Earth's Children series by Auld. It is WONDERFUL!!!!! I just finished reading "The Constant Princess" - it's suppose to be true. I can't believe what she went thru to just to get to be Queen of England in the 1500's. I am now reading "Peace like a River" by Leif Enger. FICTIONAL. It struck me last night that the kid telling the story is fanticizing dramatically about his dad. Well it is only fiction. :) Martha |
