AngelBear let me know how you like Laws of Attraction, I  have been considering getting it. Before Christmas I got Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now, which is very good. I think Gena has read The Secret and can give a review.

I'm glad I checked this post because I was about to start a new board about Oprah. 

 

I didn't 'read' The Secret - I bought the DVD.  I've watched it over and over.  I truely believe that this process helped me in starting my new life.

 

I was just watching Oprah today about this very subject.  I have joined the book club and will be doing her 'cyber class' about A New Earth.

 

Has anyone else joined that class?  i am looking forward to it.  It starts Monday March 3rd in the evening!  Can't wait!

 

I absolutely love reading self-help books.  Yes, some are hokey, but if you can get one or two really strong ideas or help from a book, I say it's worth it. 

 

LOVE Barnes & Noble and Borders!  I could live there!!!

I've read The Secret and loved it.  I "dog-eared" a whole bunch of pages to re-read when I need a reminder.  Great book!!!

Another good book, similar to those, is "The Four Agreements".

I have read The Secret & The Laws of Attraction but not the other one.  I'll bet that you will find those two books to be stuff/things that you already know and probably practice...without knowing you were doing it.  I know I found that to be true.  TRose
