What special craft talents do you have?

What do you like to collect?

Any special hobbies to keep you busy?

If none of the above,  is there something you wish you could do but don't know how? Perhaps it's something we can help each other with online here.

I like the painting. You have a good eye for composition.

What special craft talents do you have?  I learned to make floral arrangements and wreaths from a friend, and I sell several of these for funerals and Memorial Day.

What do you like to collect?     I have some antique clocks and watches, mostly family heirlooms, if I had the space and cash, I would have lots of antique striking clocks.  I also have several quilts, the oldest is 104 years old.

Any special hobbies to keep you busy? The grandkids  and I make different homemade soaps, bath salts and lotions.

If none of the above,  is there something you wish you could do but don't know how? Perhaps it's something we can help each other with online here.

I enjoy cooking, sewing, reading, dog shows. I was able to knit years ago but lately cannot understand the direction as they seem to run all sizes together. Would love to crochet but can't translate directions either. I would also like to do all the wonderful things  you ladies can do on the computer.

Quilt top was made by my great grandmother as a Wedding gift for my grandfather and his  new bride, December 1901.  The pattern is Drunkards Path, the fabric is home dyed with walnut shells for the tan, and I am assuming indigo for the blue.  The tan color was dyed in 2 different batches, and isn't all the same color.  My great grandmother didn't quilt it, so it set in a cedar chest for 75 years, until both my grandparents were gone, and an aunt asked my mother to quilt it.  Before mom got it quilted, my aunt gave it to my father, and mom finished it, and put it in the 'quilt closet'.  After my father's death in 1995, mom gave it to me as the oldest daughter.

years ago i made a kitchen witch sitting on a broom, with a string attached to the head that i could hang in the kitchen.   can't find a pattern for it, does any one have a pattern?   it also comes with a card that says if  hang it in your kitchen she will watch that your pots never boil over.
