What were you doing on 9/11?
West coast time, the events began happening before I got up. My alarm is tuned to the radio, and at first, I just couldn't believe it. I ran to the t.v. and saw the worst.
I had to go to work that day - I am the clerk for the city council, and our regular council meeting was scheduled for that night. The Mayor decided NOT to cancel, and opened the meeting with a very heartfelt statement about how we were not going to let terrorists decide how we were going to live our lives. Every single council member and department head attended the meeting, and so did a lot of citizens.
