To those who are interested----I have seen small Citrus trees at Lowes and Home Depot.  In both stores they were inside the store where they have house plants and etc. right next to the outdoor plant area.

I planted a  Dwarf lemon tree from Home Depot  maybe 15  years ago.
It produces great lemons.  I think they are Meyer Lemons

Wanda---I don't have any Citrus trees right now.  I'm not anxious to grow any more for now.  I was having migraines when I grew that last tree and    the smell of the  systemic bug killing fertilizer I had to use on it would send me into migraine hell.

Hi, this is the grapefruit tree outside my kitchen window.  I have lemons and oranges in the back but smaller than this.

Cholla- The picture doesn't show up. Did you copy/paste it or get it through your album with the yellow icon on the replies?

I see the picture. The tree makes a lovely canopy for your kitchen windows.
Strange how  pics don't show up for some .

If I buy a citrus tree, can it be kept indoors?  I would love to have an orange tree.

Beautiful picture....love it. We planted an orange tree outside our patio last year....it's doing great.  Can't wait for it to get a little bigger.

Allwizernow--I would imagine that chain stores like Home Depot and Lowes probably differ in what plants they offer for sale in different parts of the country.  Since they were for sale in the houseplant section of the stores, though, they have a good chance of being in the stores where you are.  Try calling first and ask for the person that is in charge of ordering plants for that store to find out if they have them.

Yenna--the dwarf citrus trees can definitely be kept indoors.  I don't know about the larger varieties.

Cholla -- I see your picture!  Your climate must be perfect for citrus to grow such a large one outdoors!
