Are you in the spring weather now with everything blooming? I love this time of year. Do you have plans to plant some new things this year or a vegetable garden?
I haven't been back to Chicago since Christmas and am worried over my roses. Last winter I lost 13 bushes. I put down mulch heavily around them this past year. I hope they made it through the cold winter.
we don't have rose bushes anymore because they never made it through the winter... my crocus are blooming and soon the daffodils will be blooming... it always snows on the crocus...
There has been pretty much something in bloom all winter but at the moment my bottlebrushes (5 in front, 8 on side) are so heavy with bright red blooms that they are drooping from the weight. Also have red hibiscus in bloom. Around the porch are my Easter colors...purple and yellow flowers..lol. I need to trim porch bushes which will mean no flowers for a while but I'm losing control...eveything is overgrown.
