ther is a spray that you can use on the plants .... they don't like the taste.... but you must spray the plants once a week or after it rains... we have a problem with deer,.... we tried everything..... nothing seems to work

Buy some red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper in the spice aisle...or habaneros or pequinos in the Mexican fresh foods department.

Woosh it up in your blender ....a few peppers in about 2 cups of water....add an egg white to make it stick.....strain it well so it doesn't clog the sprayer and spray it on your plants

I saw that they sell dried blood. It's good for the garden but animals don't like it. What about hot pepper flakes?

We had rabbit problems, too. We have a lot of hunters on both sides of our family and they said to go to the hunting/fishing section of your local department store or even in a regular garden/nursery place and you can find a spray that contains Fox urine. Since Fox are predators of rabbits and squirrels they will stay out of your hostas, flower beds and vegetable gardens. It works. But now I have to deal with the darn moles eating my hosta bulbs! I-ya-ya.
