PUT THEM BETWEEN SHEETS OF PAPER TOWEL (ONE UNDER AND ONE OVER) AND MICRO WAVE THEM FOR ABOUT 3 MINS. CHECK THEM AND THEN DO IN ONE MIN. INTERVALS UNTIL THEY ARE DRY.
or THE OLD FASHIONED WAY
PUT THEM BETWEEN SHEETS OF PAPER TOWELS AND IN BETWEEN THE PAGES OF A BIG BOOK AND FORGET ABOUT THEM FOR A MONTH.
OR
STRING THEM IN A BUNCH AND HANG THEM SOMEWHERE DARK AND WARM (LINEN CLOSET?)FOR A FEW WEEKS. |

I'm glad Grandma could help you. She helped me too. Last time I tried to dry herbs it didn't come out so good. I think I'll try that microwave thing too. I usually just make basil cubes with my basil. I put it in a food prossesor with a little water not much make a watery paste and put it in an ice cube tray and freeze them then put them in a platic bag. Good all winter and you get the fresh taste of basil when needed. Am going to do my other herbs thyme and oregano in the microwave though. Thanks Grandma. Dilly |

Grandma i wanted to thank you for your tip about drying herbs in the micro wave. lastnight when i had nothing to do, i went outside got an hand full at a time went inside and dried my herbs the house smeeled good, it made dh and i hunry again.... I put each herb in a glad 1/4 cup air tight container so it will keep in the flavor and freshness. Were going to be able to enjoy these herbs for a very long time. thank you fbr @-->-->--- |

Wanted Grandma and dilly to know that the herbs were a great hit. It seems I'm out every other day plunking oregano leafs and drying them (micro waveing is a good thing) FBR |
