Maryanne, My mom and sister have one exactly like that only theirs is made out of what feels like ceramic. I wonder if it was made the same as yours and they had to use some hardening agent. It's beautiful. Was it hard to do? How did you close up the back? Becly |

Hi,becky, Ihave'nt started the hat,but you do need decopage? for the hat, it is like a shelack{can't spell those words}! And if you take the hat to a arts and craft store they can fit the bottom with a base and that has a hole with which to clean it. I'm going to post one I did make and it was super easy, all you need are dowls ,tea cups with saucers , and the old bird!! i really like this one alot. Resin. to hold the saucer on of course! You can almost do it by looking and it is so cute!! Maryann |

Thanks Maryann. I love the tea cup bird feeders too. When I really get going on planning my backyard garden for next year I'll surely keep both of these in mind. My favorite is still the hat!!! Adorable!!! Becky |
