In the top right corner is a Join Now button- click it on
After you set up screenname and password and you are in
GOTO Account options on toolbar (to the top right)
Where you see your first and last name area- I would not put my real name there. I use Angel Bears as my name. I just broke my screenname into two words for it.
GO down to Album settings
Click the arrow on and make your album PRIVATE so no one can get into it but you.
Thumbnails- this means how many pictures you can view at once on the page. I use 40 for mine
Images link back- I would not check this box.
click your name or MY Albums to go back to front page
On left side type in where it says new album name whatever you want to name your album. You can have multiple albums. SAVE each time you make one. I have 25
Click on Edit if you want to rename your album
Goto the album you want to load pictures in.
Under Upload Images and Video (to the left section) click on Bulk loader
You must have Java running on your computer for this to work.
Locate where you saved your photos and click that on. the pictures will appear in the box. just click on each picture you want and it will highlight and appear in the boxline below that. when ready click on upload.
After it loads a screen comes up and you can name your pictures there if you want otherwise click on Skip this step. They will appear in your album
There are two ways I know of to get a picture from PB to your emails, boards, etc.
1. click on the photo once and it opens into another screen- click on it one more time then copy it and paste where ever you want it. I do not normally use this method because it will take bandwidth away from what you're allowed monthly. This methiod takes BW anytime someone clicks the page on to view it in your post. If you don't use a lot of siggies then you're fine. you will know when you've used to much BW because your pictures will be replaced with "you used your BW for the month up." You are allowed 1 gigabyte which is a lot so unless you do PSP or something you are fine with this method.
2. Check the white boxes beside the photo you want to use or multiple photos. scroll to the bottom of all photos on the screen your photos are showing. Click on Generate HTML and IMG code. It will take you to another screen. For MSN I copy/paste the code in the 2nd box. From there I paste it into a REPLY. At the bottom left corner of a reply on Divas is a check box for html. check it. Paste a line below the last thing posted. If you are posting to a blank reply (no writing in it yet) then delete the <del> coding in the screen.
3. For Aimoo: copy/paste the 4th box. go to your topic or reply box. at the heading of it will be a "html" click on it and it will change screens. paste the photos codes there. then click "back" and post your message if you want next to the photo (s) that will appear.
That will get you started. Just ask if you need more information. Theres lots more there to learn and play with once you are used to it.
