I have had them off and on throughout my life... generally they turned out to be a swollen hair follicle then swollen lymph glands... I have controlled the problem over the years by using an antibacterial soap...

Yes I have had them.  Mine were swollen lymph nodes that eventually went away.  I use to put warm compresses on them and it helped reduce them.

 

BUT definitely get them checked out.  Sometimes an infection can cause the nodes to swell or stress or sweating glands can become infected.  It could be a number of things to have checked

I did get out a magnifying glass and a flashlight (LOL!) and peeked. I wanted to know if a hair had gotten ingrown or if I could see anything but nothing shows at all on the outside. I really don't have hair under my arms anymore, haven't for years, it just stopped growing there which is fine with me. I will definitely feel better when I go to the Dr.

I've noticed there isn't alot of hair there for me either........at least it isn't growing out my nose or ears!!!

I've had them before...and had the doctor check them out.  They turned out fine...just benigh.  The doctors said sometimes our bodies go into a full stress cycles and we will have things like that come up ....when we're over stressed...something in our bodies have to give.  And...you've been under major stress lately.  It will be good to have it checked...worrying about it will only make you more aware of it.  We have faith that you're going to be fine...can't keep a good woman down.  But...please do get it checked as soon as possible to make sure everything is fine.

I would get them looked at. Just to be safe. My dm had them & they were cysts.

Hi-1st, this is my very 1st posting. And the 1st thing i read was about the lumps you have noticed, 2nd, I also had one that grew. It was a benign cyst and I had it removed. A very simple proceedure in at 7am home by noon. BTW I am very happy to be part of a group where I already feel a comraderie.
