Zyrtec is the only allergy medication that my son Mike can use and it works wonderful. I have been ordering it from Canada for the past three years because it was cheaper there instead of using my own insurance. As of January 24th it will become an over the counter drug finally. I can't wait! Now to see what the over the counter price will be. I remember when Claritin (never worked for him) became over the counter and the price stayed up there. I hope Zyrtec is more reasonable.

Anyone else use this drug?

You get a nice deal. Our insurance considered it in the category for high formulary drugs and was charging $45 for a 30 day. I could have used the mail order RX plan with the insurance plan that is $45 x 2 months for $90 then one month free. Out of Canada I pay $69 with delivery for #100 pills. I'm hoping the over the counter will be more reasonable.

I checked the prices out today. At COSTCO a 75 day supply is $32.  At Wal-Mart its $28. That is much better deal for my son than Canada now.
