Evening Divas,

I wanted to let you-all know that I have been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma. At this point in time, I really do not any know more than the fact that I have a tumor in the lower right lobe of my lung.

I am scheduled for a PET scan on the 24th of this month and will know more after meeting with the oncologist as to which way this will be attacked.

If the cancer is only in the lung and has not migrated to any other organs, I will be looking at surgery and possibly chemo and/or radiation therapy. If the cancer has spread, I am looking at chemo and/or radiation treatments.

I will be listed on an extended leave of absence from Divas and will probably start that on or around the 23rd. Like I told Angelbear via telephone, I still have my "big girl panties" in a knot from this all and hopefully I will be able to get them up and get off the emotional roller coaster soon.

Adair--I am so sorry to hear this news. You have been through so much already and now-THIS! I sure hope they found it in time to get it all out once and for all and that you will be cancer free with no recurrences. You will be in my thoughts. My aunt is going through chemotherapy now and I will think of you when I think of her. Hugs. Looneybird

Thanks again for the well wishes.

We will be leaving in the morning to do some paperwork in Reno and then on to Sacramento to spend the night before I have the PET scan.
