How to set up a Free hotmail account

Sign out of your screen name completely then do the following.

On your sign on screen for MSN in the bottom left corner it says "do you want to get a Net Passport."

Click it on

It will ask you if you want to use one of your own e-mail addresses or get a free one from Hotmail.  If you currently only have one or two screen names and don't wish them changed then tell them NO, you want to get a free e-mail address.

REMEMBER: when signing up for the free one it will ask you questions. If you give your real name here it will show up later. I tend to use my screen name as first and last name. For example,  Angel Bear as my name only where it asks.

After all that is set up go to any group you wish to join and it is there that you will create a screen name for this new hotmail address.
