You might try contacting www.dell.com or www.hp.com and see if they will take them.  I have heard that they will take things (even things that are not of their manufacture).

Best Buy buys back some  used electronics through a trade in program. You buy a new one and they offset the price by your trade in. I had no luck donating my old monitors so I sat them beside the garbage and the "metal junk" guys who drive our neighbor looking for bargains tossed out took it.

 

If your talking about the old big monitors not many people want them anyway since they are pretty much obsolete. I tried to get repair on one years ago and no one would do it so I bought a new one.
