I had a phone call Tuesday morning to let me know that a distant cousin of mine had passed away.  Thresea and I met eight years ago; online in a genealogy search.  Her great grandfather and my great great grandfather were brothers (this is on my father's side) and her aunt married my grandmother's cousin (this is on my mother's side).

 

I will miss her cheerful e-mails and know that she is fine now.  She had been suffering with health problems for several years and now she will not have them.  At Christmas she always had Chili, so I had a special bowl of Chili last night in commemoration to her.
