Here is a salute to women's friendship.

I have posted it before but we do have a lot of new friends in the making since then:

 

If I stand on my porch and wave, maybe you can see me.  Hi, up there in the north country.  Dh and I are happily settling in Hot Springs Village, a gated community just north of Hot Springs.  We love to take a canoe out on the lake and fish.  I do all sorts of crafts and my waistline will testify that I love to cook.  Italian cooking is my current passion, although all sorts of foods are fascinating to me.  I would love to have an herb garden, but our place is in the forest and shady, so herbs don't do very good.  Hmmm...what else...I am a grandma...my kids have litters, not births, and I am never surprised when the phone rings to say there is another baby on the way.  Dh and I love to travel, although I can't do so by myself (I have fibromyalgia so bad it ruined my career and almost ruined my life) but we do love to get out and explore the land together.  I have been to Wisconsin twice and thought it was beautiful.  I used to live in the north, but hated the Winters which seemed to go on forever.  Anyway, welcome to this group.  Did you know you can read all the boards together?  I can't explain how to do it, but Angelbear told me once and I bookmarked it once I had it all up in front of me and that way I don't have to go from board to board to read the posts.  Very convenient.  Ask her if  you are interested.  She is great at explaining.  Happy to have a new friend!

 Just figured out how to post a picture...although the quality of this one is not wonderful.  This was taken a year ago at my daughter's wedding.  That's MrK(hubby) with me.  TRose

Your picture is beautiful!  The reason it shows up under Divas posts is because its a BOARD listed under ALL BOARDS. All the boards I have could show in the left hand column but I choose to hide them because theres to many. Thanks for adding to yours.
