Greetings from Nevada
Me and my CryBaby (pic taken prior to DBS)
I am adair (will answer to Lynn also). Even though I live in Nevada I will always consider Kentucky my home. I am a disabled female veteran (USAF) who enjoys computers, genealogy, and collecting odd or unusual recipes.
I have 3 grown children - my daughter is in Kentucky and has 4 children of her own. My oldest son is in the Navy and currently stationed in South Carolina. He has 4 children also. My youngest son lives in Oregon and is expecting his first offspring in May 2008.
With all the kids grown up and away from the nest, I now have fur babies to keep me entertained. There are 3 indoor cats (CryBaby, Scaredy Kat, and Beavis) and 2 outdoor cats (Mama Kitty and Butthead) and one very old dog (Dufus D. Dawg). During the weekday it is just the critters and me running around the house. On weekends my fiance, affectionately known as "Liver," is here.
In March of 2006 I had DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) for a neuromuscular disorder known as Dystonia. The DBS has done wonders for me. If you would like more information of either the DBS or Dystonia I will be more than happy to give you as much information as I can (just do not want to bore you with it here).
