Do you get tired of emails sent by meaningful friends? The kind that come with some form of an alert, BEWARE, etc and turns out they are all HOAXS????????? Do you ever tell them about it or refer them to Snopes or Urban Legends? |

I have a friend who is involved with the Taekwondo and owns her own school. She has sent me and numerous high rank Masters in the filed the same crap for years and believes in everything. I got fed up finally and responded back letting her and EVERYONES email she had listed on mine that it was a HOAX. LOL! I have been recieving emails from people on the list I dont know thanking me, blessing me, for setting it straight and hoping the gal will stop emailing everyone. XXXXX, this is a hoax like most of them are you send out. Here is a great place to check things before emailing others. Wanda |

Oooooohhhh! I get a lot of email and I ALWAYS refer them to Snopes when appropriate. I'm surprized some people even continue to email me. Some of the stuff has been making the rounds for years. Also, my first husband (not the one who recently passed away), found out that the lovey, pass it along ones drove me crazy so he sent me everyone he could find for about a year...laughing the whole time I'm sure...teehee. |

I just delete them along with the money making schemes I get from strangers. |

The ones that irritate me the most are the Candidate bashing....none of which are true. I do send Urban Legend's debunking. Some emails make the rounds like wild fire. |

I have one friend who sends me jokes all the time. It's nice to have something to laugh at. I get tired of the advertizing, it takes up too much space. |

Usually I check out snopes to make sure it is valid...and if it is not, I tend to send the information back to the sender. |

The advertising emails for "health aides" get me the most. I tend to ignore the emails from friends which say "send on immediately or else bad luck will follow." |

What a waste of my time! I detest getting that junk and just delete them whenever they pop up in my mailbox. I don't particulary care for the political forwards that seem to keep piling up either. However, the messages that REALLY annoy me are the ones with superstitious or religious context (no offense intended to anyone). Some of them practially threaten you if you do not forward to as least "x" amount of people within the next how-ever-many hours time. |
