When you display pictures in frames, do the frames have to match? Do you mix the different wood tones with brass, silver, etc? What is your favorite picture frame to use? |

I have different styles around the house, no favorite. I have a lot of oak woodwork so I try to find a nice oak frame if it is going to be by some woodwork. My kids have given us some pics already framed and I left them in the same frames. Doesn't matter if they match, my kids gave them to me and so I like it. Different frames add character don't you think? |

I love different frames. I have all sorts including oak, cherry wood, silver, brass, pewter and other woods. I think they look better with a mixture of frames and compliment each other throughout the house. My favorite to use is the oak ones. |

I love red wood stained frames, but they're not always on sale or available.I've got a big mix of frames all over the house.Except I don't buy plastic frames w. pastel colors anymore.(I'm not that desperate) |

I have a mix. My kitchen ones were metal because they are easier to clean. Most of the rest are wooden. I like the different textures they have. |
