No, they don't have seatbelts for the buses.

I definitely think it should be mandatory for school buses, also for all buses -- I don't know how many times I've tried to save someone from falling when the bus driver moves out before  the person can get seated -- especially if their carrying packages.

Since I am a bus taker, I wish something could be done to make the passengers safer.

I always sit in a seat behind another seat so when the driver puts on the brakes I have something to grab on to.

Public buses don't have them, either.

It is odd they aren't mandatory.

I guess the expense outweighs the better judgement.

not sure about seatbelts...but those school buses drive me nuts....they stop at every house...why the hell can't the kids b picked up in 1 lump...we did when i was in school..pain in the ass when u r trying 2 get somewhere, and u got stuck behind the bus..

I have no idea if they do because the kids here use Public Transportation, for the most part- they only have buses for the very young children; from about 5th grade on it's subway, public bus or walk.
