I sure hope that today was no indication of what tomorrow brings!

 

"Liver" and I arrived at the hospital at 9 a.m. and went up to do the pre-op tests.  No problem with getting the EKG done but when I went to the lab for a blood draw they had no idea what the DR wanted   From there wandered over to X-ray and they did not have any orders.  We ended up going to Movement Disorder Clinic and had a DR there review my previous tests and order new ones. So, back to the vampires and to X-ray. 

 

Got out of there at 12:20 and was supposed to be back up in Movement Disorder and noon.  Then the nurse was late and I was starving and not in a good mood at all.  Was told to go on down to the cafeteria and show back up at 1 p.m.  blah blah blah...cafeteria was nasty and so just got a soft drink only to taste it and it was nothing but carbonation!

 

Back to Movement at just a little after 1 p.m. and had to sit around until 1:30 so that the consulting nurse could go over my records.  Then up to Anesthesia to meet with them.  Surgery is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Friday morn but need to be there at 6 a.m.
